My poor sister got saddled with my kids and someone else's kids when she was down visiting last weekend.
Someone else's kids who I said I'd watch, but then forgot I said I'd watch said kids. So she have my babes, one extra 16 month old and a wild three year old. A wild three year old who Elliot loves to copy.
Luckily Henry took a long nap and only woke up at the end of her sitting duty.
Sorry, sister!

No apology needed... right now I'd really rather be watching Elliot methodically remove all the diapers from the basket with one eye as I wrangle the 3-year-old with another and try to knit all the while...
(not sure how to wrangle with my eyes, must be a special aunt skill)
I don't know how you do it, Daphne, except I keep hearing that women are better multi-taskers than men. All I know is it takes both of my hands, as well as both eyes, to keep everyone in check. And that's with just H&E; two more and I'd be dead meat. Especially since the littlest of the two alien boys goes into full-tilt meltdown mode whenever he sees me.
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy reading your blog. My husband and I are friends of your dad. We really love reading about your twins and their adventures. We have twin nieces Charlie and Sophie that just turned 2.
